What are we trying to solve?


Many female executives, founders and leaders are exhausted by their brutal schedules and the intense demands on them. While they get a lot of joy and satisfaction from their work, they're stressed out, anxious and sleep deprived.  This results to health problems, deteriorating relationships and weakened job performance.

It's not rocket science that, when these leaders are stressed, they usually don't treat themselves or others well. To keep them going and fuelled through their busy and crazy schedules, some executives turn to self-medicating, with coffee, colas and energy drinks by day and a couple of drinks and a sleep aid at night.

With this stress comes the complexity of either overeating, or not eating at all, or eat the wrong things while on the go. Exercise and self care can also become something that quickly drops off their to-do list.  

By being overly stressed-out, such leaders might naturally and unknowingly take out their troubles on other people too. Stress makes them prone to quick temper at work or at home, angry or impatient responses.

More and more of executive female leaders find themselves unable to juggle overwhelming demands and maintain a seemingly unsustainable pace. Paradoxically, the best way to get more done may be to spend more time doing less.

A new and growing body of multidisciplinary research shows that strategic renewal — including daytime workouts, short afternoon naps, longer sleep hours, more time away from the office and longer, more frequent vacations — boosts productivity, job performance and, of course, health.
